and an idea that changed everything.
How It All Began
I came to Ibiza on holiday with my grandmother — and with my parents too. We ended up having a piña colada in a bar in Cala de Bou. The owner wanted to retire and sell. I had long been dreaming of opening my first business. Sometimes life puts you exactly where you need to be.
Although I am French, I had learned Spanish at school. The total immersion of the following months did the rest. And so The Rider Corner was born — four years ago now, in this very corner of San Antonio Bay.

The Concept
A Place Born from Movement
I competed in snowboarding until I was 19 and always loved surfing and kitesurfing just as much. That energy — of being in motion, of chasing the perfect wave, of sharing a run with friends — is what I wanted to bring to the table. Literally.
I designed the restaurant myself. My competition snowboards hang on one wall. There is a kitesurf board, surfboard-shaped tables I built with my father, and paintings on driftwood, old skateboards and surfboards painted by my mother. Not catalogue decoration — it is our story, hung on the walls.
The menu is the same: a journey. Each burger carries the inspiration of a world cuisine I love, with carefully selected ingredients to achieve the best possible quality. Because here we never do things by halves.

Evening CookWith us since last season, José has made the menu his own with a dedication and care that you can taste in every dish. His cooking is pure passion.

Morning WaitressHere since the very first day of The Rider Corner, four years ago. She learned waitressing with us and is now the heart of the room — always smiling, always giving her best.
